In the Beginning

From an epigenetic perspective when we are born, we are a combination of multiple influences as well as experiences from our ancestors. These become traits that give us a place to begin in our life. Our parents, from this level of awareness are really our shepherds guiding us not controlling us as this collective expression manifests itself as we grow into who we are to become.

This is the unique individuality that is challenged by the ways of society. These challenges are designed to put us into a particular role that is aligned to a collective narrative. There is much diversity within this narrative and yet it is a continuation of patterns established many thousands of years before now. These, of course, have become the foundations of society which use the vehicles of the physical, emotional and mental bodies as ways of interacting with these foundations.

To me, this seems incomplete in the sense that the epigenetic influences do not have a context to relate to the current reality. This could explain deja vu or phobias or similar surreal experiences. Within this incomplete state there is the opportunity to cultivate awareness of self through the vehicles of the emotional, mental and physical bodies. The sensitivities that one feels while interacting with the world does not necessarily have a point of origin with that particular interaction.

As one grows, has experiences, and learns about themselves through a more physical and emotional sensitivity, the organized mind which is influenced by the collective learning that has been fed to us, is not given full reign over the personality. It becomes an aid or a translator of sorts, albeit limited to the nature of language as a vehicle of communication.

The language of emotions is the basis of deep communication between two people. Why is this so? Feelings and the physical body intelligence are not developed in the same way as the intellect. The intellect takes in information and categorizes it then uses it for understanding reality and interactions with others on a conversational level. There is much more to this, but I hope through this paradigm to convey the contrast between the three dimensions of experience that we have in our waking state that we have been taught to understand as all that there is to this reality.

There is a wisdom held in the physical and emotional bodies that when aligned and in harmony with the mind can open up the doorway to other dimensions of perception which give a more accurate account of your personal reality. Your personal reality is separate from the collective and still you are interacting with the collective. This vantage point allows one to recognize sensitivities and not become entangled within them. Another way to put this is to not take them personally.

In the beginning there is a longing for feeling loved, because as spirits or an expression of the all-one, we came from a place of unconditional love. At some level we are anticipating this when we are born. Our collective misunderstandings of our epigenetic influences create confusion which runs alongside our societal programming, further complicating our relationship to society and our place in it.

When we are able to become curious about our triggers and our pains, without letting our minds define them or come to a conclusion as to why, then we are on a deeper path to personal healing and inner transformation.

As we grow, there will always be a degree of relationship to the ages that we were and where we came from in our biological family. This is personal growth and looking at our own stuff, as it is called. From a non-linear perspective we can hold space for these people and experiences to be alive in us now. They are wanting validation as well as acknowledgement for what they could not complete or feel in their time. It is important that they do not become us, but merely have a presence with the goal of healing to become holistically complete. They are an energy as such and with energy it can never be destroyed, it merely changes form. How we interact with this energy through these three-dimensional bodies shows us the level of self-awareness that we are currently at. The energy becomes transmuted and ceases to have the charge that it had before. In doing this it reaches neutrality or resolution. The emotional, mental and physical bodies are no longer impacted by it and so dis-ease or dis-harmony cannot take root. The environment is cleansed.

Like a tapestry that we drape within ourselves, when we are to witness the whole of who we are without judgement, become curious without the filters of definition, then the wounds, the traumas, the unhealed experiences are given a place to feel safe so that we can become whole once more and return to the innocence of spirit that we will forever be. One layer at a time.
